As a euphonium player, we don’t have as much original material as most instruments, so I’ve got creative and learned how to transcribe, arrange, and compose.

I’ve mostly written for chamber groups ranging in size from a Duet to full Big Band. I’m very familiar with brass instruments and horn section voicings, as well as how to write clear parts for rhythm section instruments. I have experience transcribing an existing piece note for note, creating a new arrangement of an existing piece, or writing something original from scratch.
